Doing a season in Mammoth

Postby Danielle » Wed Jan 23, 2013 8:46 am

Hi,

Me and a friend want to go and do a board season abroad. And we were looking at Mammoth from December 2013 until May 2014. Except it is really hard to find housing! All the websites that I find are for holiday usage of max 30 days. And all very expensive! Do you locals have any suggestions? We preferably are looking for a 2 bedroom, and 1 living room apartment or house. Will we need it to be in centre or near the slopes? I really hope you can help me out with some information!

Tnx ;)

-Have you checked thesheetnews.com and thesierrareader.com and MammothTimes? Also, have you thought about getting employed with the mountain and getting "Employee Housing". You dont have to live near the slopes, anywhere in town isn't very far from the slopes and the public transportation is awesome here. Good luck!

Hello,
I have a small studio for rent. I don't know if you're still looking for a place, but give me a call if you would like more information or to see the studio.
I have a small studio w/bathroom.
Pet's welcome with an additional deposit ($200).
Thanks!

Thanks for the tip! I had not seen thesierrareader.com, and it really has a lot of ads! :D

I don't think that we will look for an employment, because then we need to apply for an work visa. Plus I would rather go snowboarding everyday.. ;) Thanks for the suggestion though!
