just call them, makes much more sense than posting here!

agreed, i emailed my manager, and he didnt respond... so I don't want to bug them if its too trivial. see what I mean?

Securing a job is not trivial. I know what you mean, but you're also talking about your lively hood. I don't think its a big deal to want to know if you have a secure job or not. Maybe try calling instead of emailing? Its more direct.

If I remember correctly you where hired as a lifty? Steve seems nice enough if you try calling, instead of maybe saying "have you gotten my post card" you can say that you want them to know you are still very much interested just in case it doesnt arive and are moving forward to becoming an employee and thank you again for the opportunity...

The end... :P
;) :)

Yeah, I was mostly just wondering if anyone else had heard back after they sent the post card thing in, because if not, then im not concerned so much.

No, but I have had to call anyway for other things so he knows for sure. Btw, Im not sure how you plan on arriving but if you take the shuttle bus from the airport there is a slight change in the pick up times from Reno to mammoth and may want to double check times for other location pickups, the letter I originally recieved was incorrect. Just a tip for anyone who might be reading too, and Ive already told my hire manager but I just hope he tells everyone! :D

just be smart, the job is a no brainer . i still cant get over that a number of people got fired last season half way through the season . but on a lighter note, working in mammoth for the whole winter is an experience of a lifetime, esp if you love snowboarding or skiing .

i dont think ill make it up this season, but if not ill be up there next season .

I'm gonna be working at the mountain starting december 14th, figured I'd post in this thread to introduce myself and hopefully meet some cool people that I'll be working with. Super stoked on working/living at mammoth :P

BTW I'm a photographer and hope to meet some boarders/skiers interested in getting their picture taken or maybe some other people interested in photography to go shooting with. Pic is from opening day
