Multiple job options, which one?

Postby dgj » Sat Dec 10, 2011 7:48 pm

Hey everybody, I have a few job options and am looking for some advice from those with more inside knowledge than I. I have an offer for at Hyde Lounge in the Village as a busser, the rental shop in the Village, and lastly an offer doing some job in the Lockers department, not sure exactly what the title was. I really want to eventually become a bartender and have not restaurant experience so I am thinking the job at Hyde I really want to do. Since Hyde is separate from Mammoth employment (from what I understand) I could work a second job at least part time. What would you do?

You are a Levy employee when you work for Hyde.

If you want a job as a bartender, I'd first suggest taking a bartending class. As a busser, you might then move to being a server or host, but bartending is really it's own thing. A bartending job somewhere else is probably more relevant than a non-bartending job at Hyde.

Working at Hyde will be mostly afternoons and evenings; the other jobs will probably be during the day. If you want to get in hours on the slopes, I suggest Hyde.
