Any instructors out there heading to mammoth for the season? Im starting 5th december, cant wait!

I'm going to process in this week. They may not activate employee passes immediately but within a few day they should allow employees when more runs open up. I may be kind of old but if you want to take some runs and get a feel for the mountain and job I know the ropes. See you at the Main Lodge locker room, I'll be waxing my skis! If I'm not there just talk to anyone else waxing their skis. Jon

There are not going to be many runs opened. They are asking employees to show up for a dry run on the RFID systems on Tues/Wed not sure of times. However, as I recall, sometimes they won't let employees ski/ride for a while.


Will you wax my skis too?

^^if I bought a pass so I can ride before they start allowing employees would I be able to get refunded once I'm working?

I am currently living in Tahoe City but plan on moving to Mammoth tomorrow. I received a job working for the resort as an instructor and I am looking for a place to live for the season. I am a 23 year old male from Virginia, and can add a great addition to any living quarters. I graduated from Colorado College, I am neat, friendly, and love to save money by cooking. Please e-mail me or give me a call if you are looking for that extra roommate who will for sure bring a lot to the table. Not sure if you guys are still looking for people or even for places to live but perhaps you could point me in the right direction....

hey guys , ya i'm doing the employee housing too first time instructor, first time to cali, i'm flying in from NY for the 17th training as well. sure i'll see you guys around, any word on the employee housing? i signed up but don't really know what the deal is.. i'm guessing off campus housing would be cheaper ..down to check that out if anyone knows more
