Sounds like a pretty chill set up. I'm going to be moving up to mammoth dec 12 and I'll be staying until the beginning of april. How long were you guys looking to rent for? I'm going to be working on the mountain as a lifty. Are you guys working or just riding all season? How far is the apt? Sorry to bombard you with questions, haha

I dont smoke MJ on a regular basis.. very rarley for that matter. But i despise pills. They dont agree with me at all, any kind of pills. When i busted by knee and was given vicadin i chose not to take it because of the fact that pain pills make me sick, groggy, and "not there." Smoke a little MJ and it alleviates a lot of the pain. It doesnt not alleviate as much pain as a pain pill does but atleast i can talk, and not feel sick and drugged up. Its a toss up ide rather take... not as much pain relief but the ability to function, over totaly numbness and stupidity. Its all personal choice and how your body reacts to certain things. I dont get migranes very often anymore, but when i did i always felt a small hit of weed did the trick better than prescription imitrex.

I know a lot of people "abuse" weed... in whatever way you consider abuse. But most of these people in reality smoke so much pot they cant leave there house because Grand Theft Auto is just calling...

Renting in Mammoth for going on five years now ive had good, and not so good renting experiences.

I prefer not to go into deal and give out names of the ones that were not so good. There were two incidents where i had pretty shady landlords. It sucks. Because this is a small town and i still live here i dont want to run my mouth, even if they deserve it. All i want to say about that is be careful. Never let a landlord try to bill you for regular maintence he does on HIS property. Always check when the last time the carpet was replaced... and if your landlord is going to give you some BS reason why he is keeping your deposit.. go back and check it out and see if he actually replaced whatever it was he calimed to fix.

My currently Landlord (been here for almost 2 years now) is gotta be the nicest guy. He is always trying to make sure everyone is accomidated in the house. He had cut us deals for doing side work for him on the place. He has always made sure any issue is taken care...
